TRIST DEMO FILES
The TRIST Demo files can be used to demonstrate the TRIST Simulation tool or to get familiar with its various features and processes.
The data used are based on real data that have been anonymized through a randomization process.

TRIST AGGREGATION File
To illustrate TRIST features and modes of operation, the following setup has been implemented in the TRIST AGGREGATION file:

	- The required datasets were imported.
	- In addition to tariff duties, 6 taxes were defined with their respective fiscal base.
	- Various country groups were defined:
		> 2 single-country groups representing the top individual trade partners;
		> 2 groups of countries: the European Union and a group of members of a preferential trade agreement.

The fiscal bases of the various taxes can be edited to demonstrate how they are defined in TRIST.
Tax 4, named New Tax, is included to demonstrate the possible introduction of a new tax to be simulated in the TRIST SIMULATION file.
It can also be used to illustrate the rationalization of import taxation — for example, by replacing Tax 2 and Tax 3 with a single new tax.
Tax 4 is initially set to 0, but its fiscal base and rate(s) can be modified in TRIST Simulation file to create simulation scenarios.

TRIST SIMULATION File
To illustrate TRIST features and modes of operation, the following setup has been implemented in the TRIST SIMULATION file:

A custom list of products named "Sensitive Products" is available in the Product Group worksheet. It can be used in tariff or tax reform scenarios.
A new tariff schedule named "New Tariff Schedule" has been imported in the Product Group worksheet. It can be used in tariff or tax reform scenarios.
A few sample tariff and tax reform scenarios have been defined. They can be applied to illustrate how scenarios are run with immediate results in TRIST.
