Building and Managing Country Groups

The country group builder utility allows building and managing groups of countries which are available in the Regions list of the Reporter/Partner selection panel in several WITS tools, notably Advanced Query.

Using the country group builder utility

You can open the country group builder utility by choosing Create Country Groups in the Utilities menu.

In this screen you can either create a new country group or modify an existing country group. To create a new country group ensure New Group Name: radio button is checked. Enter the New Group Name. Note you cannot have spaces in the country group name. Enter the New Group Description

You now can populate your country group by selecting

• Individual Countries
• Standard Country Groups Country groups defined by WITS
• My Country Groups Country Groups previously created by you

Use the > to move your selection to your country group.

Use the Remove button to remove countries selected in the Country group. Use the Remove All button to remove all countries from the selection.

Once you are satisfied with your selection, use the Save button to save your country group.

To Modify an existing country group select the Change Country Group radio button, and select the country group you want to modify in the dropdown and press the Modify button.

To delete an existing country group select the Change Country Group radio button, and select the country group you want to delete in the dropdown and press the Delete button.
